RULES

1. Entries for the baby photo contest must be no older than two years. Entries for the Kinder Kid contest must be 3 to 5 years of age, entries for Junior Kid contest must be 6 to 8 years old, entries for the Big Kid contest should be between 9 and 12 years of age by March 2011.

2. Submit the registration form and ensure to type name in the digital signature box. This ensures us that you have read the rules thoroughly. Entries need to be in by 5pm EST on the 24th of the month to be eligible for judging for that month. Otherwise they carry over to the following month.

3. Wait for an entry number from Showkidz before emailing pictures. When you have received your entry number reply to the email attaching 2 pics of your child (head shot amd mid-length).

4. Email to: puting your entry number in the subject line. Attach 2 photos to this email. Please keep images close to 80K in file size.

5. The parent or guardian of the child in the photo must be the person submitting the photo/JPEG. Please note that Showkidz employees, consultants, and their families are not eligible to submit a photo for this contest.

6. Entries must be scanned and sent in JPEG format only.

7. Only 2 images per contestant will be considered; One head shot and one mid length and for 0-2 years 2 headshots, however, you can submit a photo of your child for the following months as long as it is a different image than what was previously entered.

8. The monthly winners will automatically be entered in annual contest. And will be featured on the Showkidz website on the Monthly Winners page - unless prior written consent from the parent/guardian submitting photo is given to Showkidz. We will notify winners by email.

9. The winners will be featured on the Showkidz Monthly Winners page for the duration of the following month and will also be the "cover kidz" in one or more of Showkidz newsletters. Winners of the year-end Runway Gala Event will receive prizes as is detailed on the Prizes page.

10. All winning photos become the property of Showkidz, and as such may not be published elsewhere (including but not limited to other Internet websites and print publications) without the express written consent of Showkidz. Use of winning photos without the express written consent of Showkidz, will result in immediate forfeiture of prizes and disqualification from the annual contest. The parent/guardian submitting the photos agrees that Showkidz can use the photos for promotional purposes of this contest and that no roaylties or commissions can be asked for or obtained from Showkidz.

11. If the monthly winner lives outside of Victoria they will have to organise their own airfare and accomodation for the Gala Runway Event that will be held in Melbourne in 2011.

12. The winners 1st, 2nd & 3rd cannot enter the competition in the following year.

13. The judges decision is final.
